About me.
When I first started to practice yoga almost 20 years ago, I went to classes in a local hall. I came away from that class feeling energised and with a fresher perspective. Since then, I’ve practiced different styles of yoga in yoga studios, village halls and at retreats in the UK and in other parts of the world.
After working in a corporate career for a number of years I decided in 2022 that I wanted to learn more about yoga, and not just the practice of postures (Asana) but also the history and philosophy. I completed my 300 hour teacher training qualification at Whitespace Studios in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes studying under some fantastic teachers. During the training I developed a greater understanding of the anatomy in yoga postures and philosophy as well as practical teaching methods. | am registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
I want to share my experiences of yoga and the many benefits it can bring. Simply, my goals are to:
Deliver classes that are accessible to as many people as possible
Provide a ‘nurturing’ space where people can focus on their wellbeing
Provide people with sessions where they can adapt or develop their yoga practice to suit their individual needs, whether that be during one-to-ones, in classes or workshops
