Beginner’s Yoga Course

Curious about yoga but not sure where to start?

Join me for a gentle and welcoming journey into the world of yoga in this Beginner’s Yoga class. Designed for those completely new to yoga or for those looking to refresh their practice to get a taster of what to expect in a yoga class. We focus on fundamental poses, simple breathing techniques and basic alignment principles. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning after a break, this course will give you the basics and confidence to join a regular yoga class.

Over the 4 weeks you will:

  • Learn the key postures including standing, seated, forward bends, backbends and balances

  • Begin to develop an awareness of your body and how to find the best alignment for you in postures

  • Develop an understanding of the benefits of different postures and how they can help you to build strength in your body

  • Practice some basic breathing and meditation techniques that can help you to relax and manage stress

  • Receive tips and information between sessions to help you build your knowledge
